Bethel House @ Eight Degrees North is the perfect place to step off the beaten path and relax.  We offer a low-key, quiet, private casita fully equipped for all your needs.  This 2 bedroom, 1 bath guesthouse has a full kitchen that will accommodate up to 4, we also boast a shaded in-ground pool and a “soaker” tub for lazy afternoon reading or a tropical afternoon libation.  We are located in the historic Las Palmas neighborhood of Puerto Armuelles, Panama, home of the United Fruit Company, now known as Chiquita.

Puerto Armuelles is located in western Panama, about an 8-hour drive from Panama City on the border with Costa Rica. Or about a 40-minute flight into David and then a 1.5 drive here. 

​

There are a number of peaceful, beautiful and mostly deserted beaches in the surrounding area as well as the Baru Forest Reserve just steps from your door and if you’re a bird watcher, this is the place.

Puerto Armeulles is a bit like stepping back in time, friendly people, many shops and fondas (eateries) to get a taste of the local flare and culture. 

​

Though not centrally located there are a number of adventures you can find up in the mountain towns of Volcan and Boquete, from a Tuesday market, coffee tours to walking through a Cloud Forest.
